Guest Speaker: Dr. Larence Kirby
Dr. Larence Kirby is a Licensed Counselor and owner of Key 2 Clarity Counseling Services, where he primarily assists Black males and Veterans in addressing life issues. He also serves as an academic advisor for Delaware Technical Community College.
Dr. Kirby retired from United State Air Force as a Command Chief Master Sergeant and admitted the military helped him to mature and earned a Bronze Star Medal for actions in Afghanistan.
Dr. Kirby has advocated for mental health through his roles as Board President Mental Health Association in Delaware, Mayor of the Town of Cheswold, Vice President Dover Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Incorporated, and by presenting seminars nationwide on mental health challenges affecting People of Color and Veterans.
